Disclosed is a dehumidifier wherein the amount of dehumidification is increased and power consumption is reduced. The disclosed dehumidifier comprises: a heat exchanger for removing moisture in air by exchanging heat with the air and generating condensed water on a surface; a condensed water tray for storing the condensed water falling from the heat exchanger; a water tank for storing the condensed water discharged from the condensed water tray by being arranged below the condensed water tray when mounted on the main body of the device; a check valve include in the condensed water tray to form a path for discharging the condensed water from the condensed water tray to the water tank and opening and closing by interlocking with the attachment and detachment of the water tank from the main body of the device; and an overflow preventing part including an opening part formed on the inner bottom of the condensed water tray, and a wall enveloping the opening part and protruding upward to a height lower than the side wall of the condensed water tray from the inner bottom of the condensed water tray.
