PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for producing recombinant antibodies with efficiency at low cost.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing an antibody or a fragment thereof by using a cell comprising a first exogenous DNA encoding L chain of an antibody or a fragment thereof and a second exogenous DNA encoding H chain of the antibody or a fragment thereof, where the copy number of the first exogenous DNA is larger than the copy number of the second exogenous DNA. There are also provided a recombinant vector and transformed cells comprising one copy of an exogenous DNA encoding H chain of an antibody or a fragment thereof and two or more copies of an exogenous DNA encoding L chain of the antibody or a fragment thereof.
