PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently perform disruption of biological tissues.SOLUTION: A fluid injection device comprises: a fluid injection section having a plurality of nozzles and injecting fluid from at least any of the plurality of nozzles in a pulsed manner in response to a driving signal; a fluid supply section supplying the fluid to the fluid injection section; an injecting instruction input section receiving injecting instruction input; a mode selection input section receiving input of selection information for selecting any mode from a first mode for injecting the fluid by using a first nozzle section including at least one nozzle and a second mode for injecting the fluid by using a second nozzle section including at least one nozzle; and a fluid injecting control section outputting the driving signal such that the fluid is injected from the first nozzle section or the second nozzle section in response to the selection information when receiving the injecting instruction input. A total area of cross sections of discharge ports of nozzles belonging to the second nozzle section is greater than a total area of cross sections of discharge ports of nozzles belonging to the first nozzle section. |
