PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket examination system that uses a quasi-electrostatic field and is capable of guiding users smooth pass of a ticket examination machine even when the users proceed from both sides of the ticket examination machine.SOLUTION: In a ticket examination system 100 capable of letting users pass through from both sides, a ticket examination machine 1 maintains communication with a quasi-electrostatic field communication device 5 at a side picking up an IC card 6 first, but stops communication with a quasi-electrostatic field communication device 5 at a side picking up an IC card 6 later, a quasi-electrostatic field transmission and reception device 3 transmits a control command to have a receiver recognize presence or absence of start of communication with the ticket examination machine 1 on the basis of maintaining or stopping communication to the quasi-electrostatic field communication device 5, and the quasi-electrostatic field communication device 5 controls an output unit on the basis of the control command and has the output unit recognize presence or absence of start of communication with the ticket examination machine 1. |
