摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of driving an articulation part of a robot and the like without being dependent upon a control over a driving source.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an actuator for driving articulation parts 7a to 7d in which movable articulation members 9b to 9e are oscillatably connected to the articulation members 9a to 9e at the base side via a hinge 11. The actuator comprises an endless unit 17 having a belt 25 run and driven over base side and movable side articulation members 9a to 9e, and a resistance applying part 19 arranged to the movable side articulation members 9b to 9e, attracting a part of the belt 25 in response to an application of voltage to apply resistance against running of the belt 25.
