The invention relates to a method and to corresponding devices for monitoring the attentiveness of an operating person of an X-ray inspection system for nondestructively inspecting inspection objects and for ensuring the presence and/or attentiveness of an operator of the X-ray inspection system, said method comprising the following steps: displaying information that defines a randomly determined desired input; capturing an actual input of the operating person as a response to the displayed desired input; and determining a signal indicating the attentiveness of the operating person on the basis of the desired input and the actual input. |
