1. A cover for a handheld device, the handheld device having a device body and a speaker, the speaker having an output, said cover comprising:
a cover body, said cover body configured for covering at a portion of the device body and for covering the speaker, said cover body forming an outlet opening; and a channel for communication with the speaker and for harnessing and concentrating sound waves from the speaker to said outlet opening, with said channel having a length and a cross section increasing in magnitude along the length of the channel wherein the volume of the sound waves emitted from said outlet opening appear to increase over the sound waves emitted from the speaker without the use of power. |
