A drug supply device (1) is equipped with a reception unit (100), a recognition unit (300) and a storage unit (500). The storage unit (500) is equipped with multiple storage trays (5) arranged therein. A storage area is set upon storage in accordance with the volume of returned drugs (2) which has been recognized by the recognition unit (300). The storage area is correlated with identification information on each of the returned drugs (2) in such a manner that each of the returned drugs (2) can be picked up by means of a SCARA-type robot (800), and the returned drugs (2) are stored in the storage trays (5).
