A method and device for estimating power intensity and determining an interference cell, which are used for solving the problem existing in the prior art that the estimated cell intensity is inaccurate since the cell intensity cannot be estimated accurately in an estimation solution of the interference cell intensity at present due to the fact that a strong interference signal is superposed in a frequency-domain channel estimation result in the case where a strong interference neighbour cell exists. In the embodiments of the present invention, by transforming the frequency-domain channel estimation to a time domain, a port corresponding to a highest-power pigtail of a receiving antenna is searched for in the time domain, and the power intensity is estimated via the sum of powers of effective paths, so that in the case where a strong interference neighbour cell exists, when a strong interference signal is superposed in a frequency-domain channel estimation result, the cell intensity can be estimated accurately, the influence of noise or interference can be overcome effectively, and the accuracy of the estimated cell intensity is improved. |
