The present invention relates to a starter contactor (1) comprising: - a cover (3), - a contact rod (17) movable with respect to the cover (3) between a rest position and an active position, - a retaining collar (17a) integral in translation with the contact rod (17), - a contact strip (19) made of an electrically conducting material mounted on the contact rod (17), the contact strip (19) being movable with respect to the contact rod (17) between an initial position in which the contact rod (17) is in a rest position and a final position in which the contact rod (17) is in an active position, the contact strip (19) being in contact with the retaining collar (17a) in the initial position and a clearance being formed between the retaining collar (17a) and the contact strip (19) in the final position, - at least one electrical terminal (21, 23), said at least one electrical terminal (21, 23) being in contact with the contact strip (19) in its final position, - a squashing spring (25) intended to be mounted around and on the contact rod (17) on a first side of the contact strip (19), the squashing spring (25) developing a load squashing the contact strip (19) onto the at least one terminal in the final position, - a restoring spring (27) intended to be mounted on the contact rod (17) on a second side of the contact strip (19) opposite the first side of the contact strip (19), the restoring spring (27) developing a restoring load on the contact rod (17) returning it from the active position to the rest position to make it possible to disconnect the contact strip (19) from the at least one electrical terminal (21, 23), in which the load of the squashing spring (25) on the contact strip (19) in the final position is greater by at least twenty Newtons than the load of the restoring spring (27) on the contact rod (17) in the active position. |
