PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metamaterial optical member capable of transmitting/receiving light with respect to the outside, and an optical detector, a laser exciting light source and a measuring device using the metamaterial optical member.SOLUTION: A metamaterial optical member 100 includes: a light focusing optical member 1 having a light incidence plane IN1 and a light exit plane OUT1 and having a light focusing function; and an antireflection film 2 provided on the light exit plane OUT1 of the light focusing optical member 1. The antireflection film 2 has a first metamaterial structure, and the refractive index thereof is gradually reduced towards a light travel direction. The metamaterial optical member 100 includes the antireflection film 2 with the metamaterial structure so as to be able to take out the light to the outside.
