PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm apparatus for an on-vehicle device which generates an alarm when it is determined that an alarm is required for a driver with respect to operation of the on-vehicle device such as a navigation system or an audio system during driving, taking difficulty of operability, an interval of operation time and so on into consideration.SOLUTION: An alarm apparatus is equipped with: an obstacle detection part (1) for detecting an obstacle in front of a vehicle; and an on-vehicle device in which an image display part and an operation input part are integrally constituted and which has information processing function such that presentation of information onto an image display part (2) is possible. In the alarm apparatus, an information processing unit (3) is provided, which has a first table in which an operation load concerning continuous operations of an operation component required for operation of the on-vehicle device during driving is defined and a second table which is added under specified conditions with respect to operation concerning the continuous operations, calculates a preset operation load value on the basis of the first table and the second table, and generates information from the obstacle detection part as an alarm through the image display part (2) when the operation load value exceeds a predetermined threshold. |
