PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective material for a wire harness having wear resistance and silencing characteristics.SOLUTION: A tape-like protective material 1 that is spirally wound around a wire harness 50 while half overlap winding makes a nonwoven fabric composed of a resin thread to be a base material, includes a thick flexible part 6 having stress absorption properties at a half side part in a width direction, includes a thin hardening part 5 at a remaining half side part, has wear resistance and silencing characteristics with the flexible part, has a protective function with the hardening part, and, when winding around the wire harness 50, performs by making the hardening part to be an inner circumferential side so that the flexible part is positioned at an outer circumferential side. |
