PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of suppressing leakage of a liquid from a nozzle associated with postural change.SOLUTION: The device comprises: transport mechanisms 54 and 55 for transporting a sheet 12 along a transport path 65 extending in a cross direction 8; a carriage 23 moving in a lateral direction located above the transport path 65 in a vertical direction 7; a record head 39 mounted on the carriage 23 and discharging an ink from a nozzle 40; and an ink tank 100 comprising an inlet 112 disposed below the nozzle 40 in the vertical direction 7, and an ink chamber 111 disposed at a position deviating from the nozzle 40 in a first orientation side of the cross direction 8 and deviating from the transport path 65 in a second orientation side of the lateral direction, in which the ink chamber 111 is coupled to an ink outflow path 114 at a position that is lower than the center of the ink chamber 111 in the vertical direction 7, closer to the first orientation than the center of the cross direction 8, and closer to the second orientation than the center of the lateral direction. |
