PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation speed detector, rotation speed detection method, and program capable of being achieved with a small number of components and with a saved power.SOLUTION: The rotation speed detector includes a rotation speed calculation unit for calculating, on the basis of sensor information of an acceleration sensor, the rotation speed of a pedal rotated by a rowing operation by a user in a riding vehicle device having the pedal. For example, the rotation speed calculation unit calculates the rotation speed corresponding to the movement of the user or riding vehicle device, on the basis of the information corresponding to the travelling direction of the riding vehicle device or the acceleration in the roll direction with respect the travelling direction. |
