PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus whose influence on a radiation image can be easily suppressed, where the imaging apparatus includes a switching power supply and a sensor array obtained by arranging a plurality of sensors in a matrix manner, each of which includes a holding unit.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 includes: a sensor array 10 obtained by arranging a plurality of sensors, each of which includes a holding unit for holding a signal depending on electric charge; a drive unit for driving the sensor array 10 so as to perform holding of signals of the plurality of sensors in a lump and select sensors by row; a signal reading unit 20 for sequentially reading a signal from each holding unit in a row selected by the drive unit; and a control unit 109 for performing control of at least one of a reading period for sequentially reading a signal from each holding unit in a selected row and a period of an operation clock of a switching power supply unit 131 so as to suppress influence on an image caused by operation of the switching power supply unit 131.
