PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition control device capable of detecting a voltage of electrical discharging of a spark plug by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An ignition control device 30 for controlling supply of electrical power for a spark plug 7 intermittently applies a predetermined voltage, which enables the spark plug 7 to continue electrical discharge, to a primary coil 41 included in an ignition coil 40. The ignition control device 30 detects a secondary voltage V2 applied from a secondary coil 42 included in the ignition coil 40 to the spark plug 7 in response to a primary current I1 flowing in the primary coil 41 during a period in which a primary voltage V1 applied to the primary coil 41 is being increased. With this arrangement, the ignition control device 30 can detect the secondary voltage V2 without arranging any sensor for directly detecting the secondary voltage V2. |
