The sealing portion 18 includes an agglomeration/sealing portion 19 and a first interface bonding portion 15 provided so as to be adjacent to the battery element housing portion side of the agglomeration/sealing portion.

A film-covered battery that houses, in a film covering material obtained by stacking a heat sealing layer, a barrier layer, and a protective layer, a battery element obtained by arranging positive and negative electrodes through separators and that has a sealing portion that seals a periphery of the film covering material housing the battery element, characterized in that the sealing portion includes: an agglomeration/sealing portion; and a first interface bonding portion having a bonding interface between the film covering materials, the first interface bonding portion being provided so as to be adjacent to the battery element housing portion side of the agglomeration/sealing portion.
