In the present invention, an erecting unit magnification relay lens comprises the following in order from the object side: a first lens group having a positive power and disposed near the object side; a second lens group disposed at a prescribed distance from the first lens group and having a positive power; and a third lens group having a negative power. The entrance pupil position is closer to the object surface side than the first lens group is, and the exit pupil position is on the third lens group side, from the image surface. The following formulae (1) and (2) are satisfied by the erecting unit magnification relay lens: (1) 0.65≤|G1F/G2F|≤2.0; (2) 0.35≤|G3F/G2F|≤3.1. G1F: focal length of first lens group. G2F: focal length of second lens group. G3F: focal length of third lens group. |
