The present invention is a silica-coated zinc oxide nanoparticle preparing method, a silica-coated zinc oxide-polymer resin matrix preparing method using the same, and a use thereof. More specifically, the silica-coated zinc oxide nanoparticle preparing method can be used to adjust the thickness of the silica coating. The present invention can coat the surface of coated zinc oxide nanoparticles with silica at an appropriate thickness to prevent the photocorrosion of the nanoparticles while exhibiting an excellent photocatalytic activity inhibitory effect. According to the present invention, the silica-coated zinc oxide nanoparticles can exhibit a visible light transmission function as well as an excellent UV absorbing function. The silica-coated nanoparticles can be fused and mixed with a polymer resin to significantly increase the dispersion rate of the nanoparticles and block the pores on the silica-coated surface of the nanoparticles, thereby preventing the nanoparticles from being decomposed by an acid. |
