PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration isolation material which is displaced by a desired amount when a great external force acts due to an earthquake and the like and can be restored to an original state when the external force is released, and which has a high restoration speed.SOLUTION: A vibration isolation material includes a plurality of coiled springs (201, 202, 203, 301 and 302) different in outside diameter dimension. The coiled spring with the small outside diameter dimension is inserted into a space inside the coiled spring with the large outside diameter dimension. Both ends of each of the coiled springs are connected together to assume a closed shape, and winding directions of the coiled springs adjacent to each other with respect to a radial direction are directions opposite to each other. |
