PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of ACK/NAK transmissions using an efficient transmission pattern in frequency and time to transmit ACK/NAK.SOLUTION: An embodiment uses a repetition factor to determine how many times a first acknowledgement should be repeated in response to receiving a first data transmission, selecting an acknowledgement transmission (ACK TX) pattern, where the ACK TX pattern comprises frequency and time location of a plurality of blocks used for transmitting the first acknowledgement, and repeatedly transmitting the first acknowledgement according to the ACK TX pattern. |
