PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods, pharmaceutical compositions and kits for the use in the treatment of Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma, which exhibits a remarkably high response rate with moderate side effects.SOLUTION: The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition in which interferon, such as interferon α, an arsenic compound selected from arsenic, arsenic trioxide (As2O3), melarsoprol, arsenic sulfur derivatives, and the like, and a reverse transcriptase inhibitor, such as zidovudine are combined. |
