PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing device in which safety is improved.SOLUTION: The bathing device is provided with: a seat part 20 to bath a care-needed person, for example, an elderly person or a handicapped person, in a sitting posture; an elevating mechanism 30 for elevating the seat part 20 in a bathtub 10 by using a rope body; collision prevention means for preventing collision between the seat part 20 and a bottom wall of the bathtub 10 in a case when the rope body breaks; and operation means for operating the collision prevention means. A person to be bathed is sat on the seat part 20 and rotated by 90 degrees, and then the seat part 20 is slid in a direction (direction inside the bathtub 10) moving away from an opening 11 so as to be fit in the bathtub 10. |
