PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring apparatus capable of suppressing errors in monitoring and improving accuracy of the monitoring in a constitution for monitoring human action in a predetermined area by using radio waves.SOLUTION: The monitoring apparatus includes: three or more antennas for receiving radio waves transmitted from a transmitter arranged in a monitoring target area; a monitoring unit for performing monitoring processing for monitoring human action in the monitoring target area on the basis of radio waves received by the respective antennas; and a synthesis unit for synthesizing the radio waves received by target antennas which are at least two antennas out of the respective antennas so that intensity of radio waves from directions other than the monitoring target area out of the radio waves received by the respective antennas are weakened. The monitoring unit performs the monitoring processing on the basis of at least the radio wave synthesized by the synthesis unit. |
