摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of suppressing an increase in the torque fluctuation rate and an increase in the NOx emission of an internal combustion engine, and reducing the energy consumption of ignition discharge.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 16 constituting an engine system 10 injects a fuel to a combustion chamber 17 of an engine. An energy input unit 50 can adjust a discharge maintaining period of an ignition plug 7 that generates a spark discharge in the combustion chamber 17. A control device 32 controlling this engine system 10 detects a torque fluctuation rate of the engine from a signal of a crank angle sensor 12 or the like and detects a NOx concentration from a signal of a NOx sensor 38. The control device 32 controls the discharge timing of the ignition plug 7 to be close to the injection timing of the fuel injection valve 16 and shortens the discharge maintaining period of the ignition plug 7 if the torque fluctuation rate is equal to or lower than a predetermined value Y and the NOx concentration is equal to or lower than a predetermined value X. It is thereby possible to reduce the energy consumption of the energy input unit 50.
