PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-resin composite which is composed of a metal member and a resin member fastened integrally and improve further in fastening strength.SOLUTION: A metal-resin composite uses, as the metal member 12, a member formed by roughening the surface 14 of a metal material 20 provided with a plated layer 24 of zinc by heating to a temperature higher than the melting point of zinc to vaporize the zinc, and a resin member 16 is fastened integrally to the surface-roughened surface 14 by insert molding, leading to improvement of the fastening strength of the resin member 16 to the metal member 12. More specifically, owing to the roughness of the surface 14 formed by vaporization of the zinc of the plated layer 24, the irregularity of the surface 14 has a more complex and complicated shape, compared with cases in which the surface is roughened by alloying between zinc of a plated layer 24 and iron of a steel plate 22, and a resultant anchor effect allows the resin part 16 to be fastened with higher fastening strength. |
