PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a framed film which is excellent in masking driver IC's and wiring when used in the front plate of an image display device and good in linearity of edges and can suppress mixing of bubbles when stuck to a constituent layer of the front plate of an image display device or a display element, etc.SOLUTION: A method of producing a framed film having a frame-printed layer on at least one side of a substrate forms the frame-printed layer by overprinting of two or more printed layers, and the frame width of a first printed layer formed first on the substrate, among printed layers, is wider than frame widths of other printed layers. The first printed layer is formed by a gravure printing method using a corrosion plate.
