PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging device and a gradient magnetic field power supply that can check the state of impedance of a gradient magnetic field coil.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging device comprises a generating unit, a current detecting unit, an applying unit, and a measuring unit. The generating unit generates a voltage to be applied to a gradient magnetic field coil 2. The current detecting unit detects a current flowing through the gradient magnetic field coil 2. The applying unit controls the generating unit to apply a predetermined voltage to the gradient magnetic field coil 2. The measuring unit measures the impedance of the gradient magnetic field coil on the basis of the current detected by the current detecting unit when the predetermined voltage is applied to the gradient magnetic field coil 2. |
