PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purifying device for marine diesel engine using low quality fuel, such as, particularly, heavy oil containing high concentration sulfur constituent, capable of discharging of waste treated water into ocean even in cruising in a special marine area for the treated water and in an area other than the special marine area for the treated water.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an exhaust gas purifying device of a marine diesel engine using low quality heavy oil and the like including high concentration sulfur constituent in which an exhaust pipe communicated with an exhaust manifold of the engine is provided with a selective catalytic reduction NOx removal equipment (hereinafter called as "SCR") and downstream side of the SCR is provided with a scrubber scarcely removing particulate matter (PM) contained in the exhaust gas under utilization of difference in diffusion velocity between gas and particle.
