PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body and a vacuum cleaner capable of sucking dust without damaging a cleaning face.SOLUTION: A suction port body 105 comprises a suction space 135 inside thereof, a head part 127 having a suction port on a side opposing a cleaning face, and a ventilation path 129 connected to the head part 127 and having inside thereof, a ventilation space 137 communicating with the suction space 135 via a ventilation port 143. The suction space 135 communicates with outside of the head part 127 via the suction port, and has a truncated circular shape or a truncated oval shape in which a portion closer to a cleaning face side than the suction port that exists between a central axis of a circular shape or an oval shape and the cleaning face, in the circular shape or the oval shape contacting with the cleaning face is truncated in a cross section perpendicular to a parallel direction. An area of a cross section in the suction space 135 is constant along the parallel direction. |
