METHOD OF CREATING DOT ARRANGEMENT OR THRESHOLD VALUE MATRIX, IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image which is robust to a positional deviation and has improved granularity.SOLUTION: A first dot arrangement and a second dot arrangement are created from related potential function and potential map (S1508, S1509). Image quality when the first dot arrangement and the second dot arrangement are overlaid is evaluated (S1511, S1512). The potential function is updated when the image quality is not within a predetermined range evaluated (S1513). A first dot arrangement and a second dot arrangement which are re-created based on the updated potential function are acquired (S1508, S1509). Regarding the re-created first and second dot arrangements, S1508 to S1514 are repeated until a determination is made that an image quality change associated with a positional deviation when the arrangements are overlaid is within a predetermined range.
