PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent thermal deformation of imaging lenses 45L and 45R resulting from an increase in temperature inside a housing 43 associated with the operation of a polygon motor 42.SOLUTION: Between a polygon motor 42 and imaging lenses 45L and 45R inside a housing 43, a partition wall 60 is provided to block the air stream induced by the rotation of the polygon motor 42 and directed from the motor 42 to the imaging lenses 45R and 45L, and the partition wall 60 has openings 47fand 47fformed therein through which light made incident on a rotary polygon mirror 41 and light reflected thereon can pass.
