PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing foreign materials in dried laver, capable of easily removing the foreign materials in a short time with automation, excellent in efficiency and costs; and capable of reliably removing the foreign materials without errors.SOLUTION: A device 16 for removing foreign materials in dried laver A is incidentally used in the processing production of the dried laver A so as to remove the foreign material B including contaminants and metals attached to the laver A subjected to the detection, screening, and collection by a foreign material sorting machine. The foreign material inspection is performed by light emitting and receiving while the laver A is transported. When the position of a foreign material B is detected, the transportation is temporarily stopped and the foreign material B at the detection position is removed from the laver A. The device 16 for removing foreign material includes the combination of a feed part 17, a conveyor 18, a light source 19, a camera 20, control means 21, and removal means 22. |
