PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation of reproduction timing for each reproduction device.SOLUTION: A synchronization device 10 includes: a time management section 111 for managing time information indicating a present time; a counter management section 112 for increasing a first counter value at a predetermined time interval; and a transmission section 113 for transmitting the time information and the first counter value at the same time point as synchronization time information and a synchronization counter value, respectively. A reproduction device 20 includes: a content acquisition section 213; an acquisition section 211 which acquires the synchronization time information and the synchronization counter value and acquires target time information indicating a time at which contents should be reproduced; a counter management section 212 for increasing a second counter value at a predetermined time interval and setting the synchronization counter value to the second counter value; and a reproduction control section 214 which performs control to reproduce contents when the second counter value is matched with a target counter value calculated by adding a differential counter value to the synchronization counter value, the differential counter value corresponding to a differential time determined from the target time information and the synchronization time information.
