PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soap composition fast in melt during use, having high bubble power, hardly swelling or flowing out at a normal temperature, less in irritation to skin or eye and being environmental friendly, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided a soap composition obtained by mixing a mix aliphatic acid comprising aliphatic acid having 12 to 24 carbon atoms and magnesium hydroxide or magnesium oxide, then saponifying by alkali of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide having a mass ratio of potassium hydroxide/sodium hydroxide of 90/10 to 0/100. There is provided a soap composition with magnesium hydroxide or magnesium oxide of 0.1 to 7 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the total mass of potassium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide. There is provided a soap composition where the aliphatic acid is saturated aliphatic acid, the soap composition further containing polyhydric alcohol and water with raw material soap of 20 to 40 mass%, the polyhydric alcohol of 20 to 50 mass% and water of 11 to 50 mass%. |
