PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both compact formation of a motor compressor with an electric circuit and sufficient cooling of composing members of the electric circuit.SOLUTION: A sub-housing 12 formed with a fixing surface 12b to which composing members of an inverter 40 are fixed is provided with a step part 12c protruded toward the inverter 40, and a first suction space S1 into which low pressure refrigerant is flowed is formed within the step part 12c. In addition, a flat plate part 13a of a shaft forming member 13 is arranged at the opposite surface of the fixing surface 12b of the sub-housing 12 so as to form a second suction space S2 into which low pressure refrigerant between the sub-housing 12 and the flat plate part 13a is flowed. Further, the sub-housing 12 is formed by metal of superior heat transfer characteristic to enable heat transfer to be carried out among the composing members IG, C, H fixed to the fixing surface 14c of the step part 12c and the fixing surface 12b of the sub-housing 12 and the low pressure refrigerant in the first and the second suction spaces S1, S2. |
