PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving vessel whose speed is increased by blowing high pressure air to the vessel bottom and reducing friction resistance of sea water.SOLUTION: An air compressor 1 is installed in a hull above a draft line. A pneumatic pipe 2 is connected to the air compressor, and a check valve 3 is attached to the pneumatic pipe. A relay pipe 4 that is bent downward is connected to the pneumatic pipe, and a high pressure air blow-out pipe 5 is connected to the relay pipe. The lower part of the air blow-out pipe is branched and attached to the vessel bottom on both sides of the keel, penetrating the vessel bottom. |
