PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transparent surface material having a tacky adhesive layer, in which method adhesion of the cut surface of the tacky adhesive surface is prevented so that productivity can further be improved.SOLUTION: A double-sided tacky-adhesive film includes: the tacky adhesive layer 2A; a first separator 4A which is stuck peelably to one surface of the tacky adhesive layer 2A and on which a metal layer 3A is arranged; and a second separator 7A stuck peelably to the other surface of the tacky adhesive layer 2A. The method for producing the transparent surface material having the tacky adhesive layer comprises the steps of: irradiating a roll film 50A of the double-sided tacky-adhesive film with laser light L from the side of the second separator 7A to cut the second separator 7A and the tacky adhesive layer 2A so that each of them has the size corresponding to that of the double-sided tacky-adhesive film; and peeling the second separator 7A, which exists in a portion to become the double-sided tacky-adhesive film, from the other surface of the tacky adhesive layer 2A.
