PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition capable of forming an adhesive layer excellent in step followability and moisture heat whitening resistance as well as gas floating prevention property, and an adhesive sheet having the adhesive layer.SOLUTION: The adhesive composition contains a (meth)acrylic copolymer containing a constitutional unit derived from a monomer having a hydroxyl group, alkylene oxide modified polyfunctional (meth)acrylate of over 5 pts.mass and less than 40 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the (meth)acrylic copolymer and a crosslinking agent with the content of monofunctional (meth)acrylate of less than 10 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the (meth)acrylic copolymer.
