摘要 The present invention relates to hydrogel membranes comprising a hydrogel, said hydrogel comprising a plurality of tetramer amphiphilic peptides and/or peptoids capable of self-assembling into three-dimensional macromolecular nanofibrous networks, which entrap water and form said hydrogels, wherein at least a portion of said plurality of tetramer amphiphilic peptides and/or peptoids is chemically cross-linked. The present invention further relates to stratisfied biostructures and devices comprising at least two hydrogel membranes of the invention, which can be used e.g. to rebuild human skin and for tissue engineering of organs and tissues. The present invention further relates to corneal implants and devices comprising a hydrogel membrane of the invention.
