The present invention suppresses artifacts which occur in a high-speed image capturing method by thinning out data. A low-dimensional image is created by converting measurement data and an image into a low-dimensional space, and a new type of constraint in image estimation processing is created using the low-dimensional image. By providing the new type of constraint that is different in nature from the constraint of sparseness in compressed sensing and a constraint based on coil sensitivity in parallel imaging, the range of the solution of an estimated image is narrowed to thereby bring the estimated image close to a correct solution.
