In the embodiments of the present invention, a first user terminal of device to device (D2D) communication acquires an uplink transmit power parameter; the first user terminal determines a transmit power for the D2D communication according to the uplink transmit power parameter and a downlink path loss; and the first user terminal transmits D2D data according to the transmit power for the D2D communication. Bad effects caused by in-band leakage on uplink communication can be reduced by means of the embodiments of the present invention.
