PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure ink composition in a black color, which is favorable in the resistance to plate fogging, resistance to contamination of an impression cylinder, ink stability with time, and density and adhesiveness of a printed matter.SOLUTION: It is found through intensive studies by the inventors that the following printing ink composition is favorable in the resistance to plate fogging, resistance to an impression cylinder contamination, ink stability with time, and density, blocking resistance and adhesiveness of a printed matter. The printing ink composition comprises: carbon black having a pH of 2 to 4 and a primary particle diameter of 40 to 60 nm, with a limited oil adsorption amount (OAN) of 65 to 100 ml/100 g; a polyurethane urea resin having an amine terminal; and an organic solvent. |
