PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a more safety and highly reliable fluid injection device.SOLUTION: A fluid injection device comprises: a fluid container having a fluid storage section storing fluid and a fluid outlet formed on the fluid storage section; a fluid pressing section pressing the fluid storage section and causing the fluid to outflow from the fluid outlet; connection piping having one end connected to the fluid outlet; a fluid injection section having a fluid intake port connected with the other end of the connection piping and injecting the fluid taken in from the fluid intake port in a pulsed manner; a flow passage open/close section opening and closing a flow passage in the connection piping; a pressure detection section detecting a pressure when the fluid pressing section presses the fluid storage section and outputting a detection signal of a level corresponding to the pressure; and a control section determining a failure of the pressure detection section depending on whether or not a period of time required from timing when the pressure being obtained by causing the fluid pressing section to press the fluid storage section in a state of the flow passage being closed by the flow passage open/close section and being indicated by the detection signal is equal to a first determination value or more until timing when the pressure is a second determination value is equal to a predetermined period of time or more. |
