PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing device for a secondary battery capable of quickly cooling a secondary battery that is a specimen, when any abnormality occurs in the secondary battery.SOLUTION: A testing device 1 for the secondary battery includes: a test tank 2 in which the secondary battery is accommodated; an abnormality detection part 4 for detecting the abnormality in the secondary battery; a liquid medium accumulation part 5 for accumulating a liquid medium for cooling the secondary battery; a liquid medium cooling part 6 for cooling the liquid medium; a liquid medium supply part 7 for supplying the liquid medium to the secondary battery; and a control part 9 for controlling the liquid medium cooling part 6 and the liquid medium supply part 7. When the abnormality detection part 4 detects the abnormality in the secondary battery, the control part 9 controls the liquid medium supply part 7 so as to cool the secondary battery by supplying the liquid medium cooled by the liquid medium cooling part 6 to the secondary battery. |
