PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure suitable as a common connection portion provided on a display panel.SOLUTION: A common connection portion provided in an outer region of a pixel portion has such a structure that an oxide semiconductor layer 186 formed by the same layer as a second oxide semiconductor layer and a common potential line 185 formed by the same layer as a conductive layer are laminated on an insulating layer formed by the same layer as a gate insulating layer 102. The common potential line 185 is connected to a common electrode 190 through an opening in an inter-layer insulating layer 107 provided on the first oxide semiconductor layer and an electrode opposing a pixel electrode 110 is electrically connected to the common electrode 190 through conductive particles.
