The present invention discloses a method for fabricating a solar cell which has a selective emitter and a reformed surface, and a solar cell manufactured by the same. For example, a method for fabricating a solar cell includes: a substrate preparing step of preparing a substrate doped with impurity of a first type; an impurity applying step of applying impurity of a second type to a side of the substrate; an electronic beam emitting step of diffusing the impurity by emitting an electronic beam from the side of the substrate, and forming a selective emitter layer; and an electrode forming step of forming a front electrode in a region corresponding to the selective emitter.
