METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DOUBLE ROLL

Provided is a method for manufacturing a double roll which may include the steps of: forming a first carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) layer to surround the outer circumference surface of a mandrel; forming a projection part in the center by removing both side parts in the longitudinal direction of the first CFRP layer as much as a set thickness, and forming a concave part in both side parts; inserting molds into both side parts for the outer circumference surface to be located on the same line with the outer circumference surface; and forming a second CFRP layer to surround the outer circumference surface of the projection part and the molds, thereby withstanding high loads while being lightweight and preventing the central part of the roll from sagging downwards by the load of heavy objects concentrated on the upper center.
