<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin hoist of an elevator which has a highly rigid brake drum and increases a braking force without employing something special. <P>SOLUTION: The thin hoist 6 of the elevator brakes the rotation of the brake drum and a sheave 8 by bringing a brake lining 11 of an electromagnetic brake 10 into pressure contact with an outer peripheral braking surface 12 of the brake drum 9. A width dimension orthogonal to an axial rotation direction of the outer peripheral braking surface of the brake drum is set larger than a minimum thickness dimension of the brake drum, a minimum thickness part of the brake drum is provided in a plane of projection orthogonal to an axial rotation direction of the outer peripheral braking surface, a peripheral edge 19 of the brake drum has an approximately T-shaped cross-section, an opening angle of a sheave-side butt part 20 of the approximately T-shaped cross-section brake drum is set to an approximately acute angle, an oil groove for storing an oil running from a side surface of the brake drum is formed, and a motor rotor 21 is fixed to a butt part 22 on the side opposite to the sheave in the approximately T-shaped cross-section brake drum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
